browolf Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 (edited) Need to spec up a machine as test rig for Server 2008 to play with terminal services and find a good book to look at. Obviously the cheaper a pc is the more likely I can get it my boss to agree to it but at the same time I don't want it super slow. It'll have to be a fujitsu siemens workstation. dual core mid/high? quadcore? ram 2/4 gb more? what do you suggest? Edited May 10, 2010 by browolf

TOP500 List - November 2009 (1-100) | TOP500 Supercomputing Sites I now run a i7 965 with 12GB DDR3 2133Mhz on an Asus Board runs really well but is a bit pricey. Get in touch with one of the sponsors on here I'm sure they will kit you out :-) D
