mdking Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Hi all, Having a slight problem with ghost. Recently taken delivery of a few HP mini 5102 laptops. The laptops NIC is a marvell yukon. Im trying to boot from the network, loads ghost fine however the NIC turns it self off. I have created a ghost CD with (what i think is the correct drvier) but still no joy. Has anyone else had this problem? Many thanks Matt
laserblazer Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 I seem to remember the HP NIC driver didn't work with our DC7800s and I used the universal one.
linkazoid Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 (edited) I take it the boot disk's you asked me for didnt work? You can also try this taken from....Source In BIOS System Configuration Built In Device Options Un-Check Audio Device (turn it off). this will also disable the microphone and internal speakers. All other BIOS settings are set to Factory Default Also If you experience a stack overflow you may have to adjust the FIX= value in the protocol.ini to 1 or 3 - [source] Michael Edited April 15, 2010 by linkazoid More Details 1
