pwds Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I've set our Clickview 24/7 to record ITV1 for the first election debate tomorrow @ 2030hrs, but we're hovering between 40% and 60% signal quality. This makes it highly unlikely we'll be able to successfully record the debate. Is there anyone with Clickview 24/7 and a strong signal for ITV1 who can record this and upload it to Exchange?
Andrew_C Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 I'll check our CV 24/7 box, but it has been playing silly bggrs so don't hold your breath! I do wish CV would create a forum for Exchange users to make these requests!
pwds Posted April 21, 2010 Author Posted April 21, 2010 This has actually gone up on Clickview Exchange although it is mislabled as BBC1 it is the correct programme. I am re-tuning our box back to Sky News in the hope I can catch the next debate- signal for Sky is much stronger than ITV so fingers crossed. With regard to the Clickview requests forum, unless Edugeek have an objection I don't see why we shouldn't use this thread as an unofficial one for the time being.
australiana Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 There is a Clickview UK Forum here Clickview UK forum • Index page where you can make requests.

australiana Posted April 21, 2010 Posted April 21, 2010 Sorry, something went wrong when I did a cut and paste. Here it is here: Clickview UK forum • Index page
pwds Posted May 24, 2010 Author Posted May 24, 2010 Another request please folks, although a long shot. Human Sciences have asked for 'Wormwood Scrubs' shown on ITV1 on Monday 10 May and 17 May at 2100hrs. We don't record ITV1 and the signal for that channel is fairly dire here anyway. If anyone does record ITV1 and is likely to have it on their box it'd be much appreciated if it could wend it's way onto Exchange.

Try searching for them after about 1pm. 1
pwds Posted May 25, 2010 Author Posted May 25, 2010 Clickview is rapidly becoming the bane of our existance here- should never have told staff about it. Business are now asking for a copy of "High Street Dreams" that aired yesterday and of course our Clickview 247 has been reporting no signal since Saturday (without us being aware of this). Stopped recording and restarted the box which has taken us back up into the customary 100% but we haven't got a copy of the video requested. 1) Has anyone got a copy of yesterday's episode (BBC One, 9:00pm Monday 24th May 2010) that they wouldn't mind uploading? I will upload Episode 2 now as I see only Episode 1 is currently available. 2) Has anyone got any magic tricks to get Clickview 247 to resume recording when signal is restored, or to stop it falling over like this. I'm pondering restarting the service at 0400hrs daily as a batch job.

pwds Posted May 26, 2010 Author Posted May 26, 2010 Once again thank you for your help. Downloading now.
jtotheb Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 If anyone has the Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections about Wembley Stadium, broadcast on BBC 2 on Sunday May 9th available to upload to Clickview Exchange I'd really appreciate it.
pwds Posted June 8, 2010 Author Posted June 8, 2010 I'm afraid if you'd asked yesterday I could have provided it but our 24/7 currently only has from the 10th May onwards due to the rolling recording. We stress to our staff that requests should be made within two weeks of broadcast, or three at the latest, to ensure we are able to provide a copy.
