ajbird Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 anyone managed to get this working with the 64 bit vesion of server 2003? any help would be great cheers
ajbird Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 apparently it does not work on x64 - installed vs server 2007 with 2003 x32 and all is working a treat cheers
k-strider Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I have unfortunately already installed my copy on a different server, But I have a x64 server running Virtual Server 2007 and that is exactly what I want to do... put it on a virtual server.. but to migrate it over looks more complex than installing it first off….. Doh………….
CyberNerd Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 put it on a virtual server.. but to migrate it over looks more complex than installing it first off….. Doh…………. It's not so hard. I migrated KS3 APS to another server.- seems to work accordingto 'test transfer' etc - but not used in anger yet.. back up your postgres, then rsync the aps directory keeping files permissions intact. grep that folder for the original IP and edit that file to change to the new address. Reinstall onto the new server to get the startup scripts in place, then rsync the data back and import the database. Took about 10min.
