PC Restarting when going to print Status: Details: When students select the ITC-1 printer in drop down list the PC restarts. Some students are effected by this. It does not seem to be any particular PCs. These students can sometimes print after restart however, some students have suffered this sympton multiple times during a lesson.
SYNACK Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Tried an updated driver? What kind of printer is it? Does the driver use an older type 1 kernel mode driver, that might be able to cause something like this.

contink Posted March 11, 2010 Posted March 11, 2010 Just a thought but more information on the printer would still be useful... That, operating system, terminal server setup? etc... Otherwise it looked suspiciously like a "Doohickey doesn't want to work with my thingummy" style bug report...
danrhodes Posted March 11, 2010 Author Posted March 11, 2010 For our print server we run Server 2003, hosting about 100+ printers all HP. Our clients are Windows XP SP3. Printer in question was a HP P3015DN:D
