Has anyone got a printing cost spreadsheet lying around to "lend" out

 

Just to save me building one up

 

Looking for one that can cope with capital cost spread over a time period with consumables and also photcopiers with no capital cost but quartly rental and maint charges and costs/print for b&w colour.

 

Go - on - you've probably all done one - can I have a copy please so I can stick my own numbers in

I did have a printer based one when we were costing out various printing schemes. Can't find it at the moment though .

I do have a spreadsheet but it's more based around comparing printer models based on different usage patterns, and then against bulk ink/CIS kits... It's pretty out of date but I might be able to dust it off and see if it's any good now.

 

Any specific models you want to compare against? and do you have specific costs, specs for consumables (including toner/ink, drum, fuser, etc... replacement costs, life expectancy, etc...) ?

Well the HP2600, HP3600 - an HP K5400 and Brother HL4040 would do as representative printers.

 

I just what to be able to prove(or not as case may be) hat a colour photocopier saves the school money and that maybe leasing 2 of them might also either save them money or be fiscally neutral so that its worth doing anyway just to give the schools backup photocopier facility.
