itgeek Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Hi I have deoployed a background via gpo. I have an issue when users lock there pc it defaults to there original background. How can we control the Locked background image? Thanks
dayzd Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Not sure about setting via GPO, but I've had this same phenomenon setting things manually. I seem to remember that the 'locked' wallpaper is the last wallpaper set with display properties. If you change it via another means (different app etc), or possibly to a JPG or something else that classifies as 'active content' (anything not a bmp, I think), it doesn't apply to the 'locked' state. You may need to look for a different GPO policy to apply this, or maybe use a bmp.
