Dell servers

I'm after a new server but because the budget is getting smaller by the day I'm looking at trimming costs.

 

I see Dell make the T610 and T710 servers and both use the Intel 5520 chipset. So from the look of it they are the same server apart from the T610 has less memory slots and less HD space. Is there anything I've overlooked or could you recommend another server that costs the same as the T610 or even less?

I had a bit of a look at those Dell servers too:

I couldn't figure out why we'd want the T710 over the T610, either - the T710 does take more RAM, but of the more expensive, slower, server-only kind. Both servers take a maximum of 24GB of cheaper RAM, so if you're on a budget then the T610 looks like the one to aim for.
