Jobos Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 In Windows 7 Pro the network ID wizard is greyed out so I can't join the domain. Any ideas how to proceed?
ricki Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 Hi Why are you using the wizard. Have a look at Joining Windows 7 to a Domain and join the domain as if it was a windows xp machine. Richard

Richard Picture 4 shows the member of box, mine was greyed out as if it was the home version. I'm reinstalling windows on it now so problem over.
Snuffkins Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 I wondered if the Netlogon service was not running for any reason. But if you're doing a reinstall thats probably not much help now .
