hargz Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Hi, I had an old computer at school that died on us and we have just bought a new Fujitsu Amilo P. There are alot of programs on the old computer so to save time i planned to image the old computer onto the new and then use Windows XP disc to repair it. The imaging went fine however when trying to repair it I've got the error message: The file acpi.sys is corrupted Anyone got any suggestions? Cheers
danrhodes Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 This is an easy one, Run windows setup from CD, enter the recver console and select your O/S Run the cmd dskchk c: /p /r This will sort the file out. D
