News Post - Technology put to good use.

I just had to post about this.

 

Looking through the BBC News as I do in the mornings I was humbled and really brought down to Earth when I seen the article of a Rifleman in Afghanistan coming off of a normal day's patrol and speaking to his mum over a Sat link in to the UK on live TV.

That to me is prime use of the technology we have available and I'm for one glad *we* the collective tech heads that come up with this kind of stuff are able to do so for the sake of making one family's Christmas that little bit better.

 

My thoughts are with those we have lost in conflict and with everyone else who has lost someone special to them.
