Hi all,

Due to a recent Conficker outbreak, we've had to disable task scheduler service across the domain (using GPO). However, our backup solution (ntbackup to a NAS box) used task scheduler to start the jobs at a time when no-one was in the building.

I'd prefer to keep task scheduler disabled until the entire network is cleaned. Staff not bringing their laptops in are halting this process.

So in the interim, can anyone point me in the direction of some free software that will schedule tasks without using the windows task scheduler?

Cheers in advance,

Will
