This is more of a personal thing rather than for the school my server is in a remote location so i can just go and put this disc in but if i could download the files to the server that would be fine. Thanks anyway.

Ah, fair enough.

 

You could download an ISO and mount it on the server to get to the files that way, else maybe your host could put a CD in for you. I wouldn't trust anything I found on the net as being safe really unless it was from MS/etc.

the server belongs to me i could go and pop the disc in myself but its an hours drive so i cant be bothered lol, do you have any idea where i could get the ISO from?

for the 32bit 2k3 R2 iso. change .img to .iso then mount it to get the i386 folder. bear in mind that you may have to change some files for it to accept your key as the xp/2k3 discs don't accept all the different types of code (ie. VLK, OEM, retail) like the vista/2008/7 discs
