Hello All,

Just thought I'd highlight Episode 75 of the StackOverflow podcast as it was mostly sysadmin-orientated. The podcast itself can be found here:

IT Conversations | StackOverflow | Episode 75 (Free Podcast)

A couple of books were mentioned that I was wondering if anyone had read and could recommend:

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/0596007833/tomontime-20]Time Management for System Administrators[/ame]

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/0321492668/tomontime-20]The Practice of System and Network Administration[/ame]

Both, from the titles, certainly sound like they'd be useful to most of us. Has anyone read either of those two?

Also mentioned was the list of Dumb Things To Check. Important note: it's not a joke list, or tongue-in-cheek, or anything like that, it's an honest-to-goodness list of stuff to run through when fixing most computer setup / networking issues.

Edit: Woa, didn't know that'd happen with the Amazon links!

I've listened to a few Stack Overflow episodes in the past and it is pretty cool.

I've not read these books myself but they are available through O'Reilly's Safari service which is well worth having.
