We have 128 of these machines and we have been trying to use some open source software on them but have hit a wall.

The machines need 3D to work and the onboard graphics does not support 3d

any 1 help or give me ideas please

it has the intel q35 graphics chip and we have put the latest drivers on also

What software are you trying to use? DC7800 was our standard machine and we have lots of them running a pretty huge range of software without problems (and we have some pretty demanding users!)

Not quite sure what you mean about not supporting 3D? They're not going to do DirectX graphics as fast as a separate PCI Express card but they should be up to most things I would have thought??
