russdev Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Looking at home broadband from O2. As not got O2 exchange here so I would be on the Home Access package. Has anyone here got it and what are speeds like at the moment as I have heard mixed reports on the home access package.
bossman Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 @Russdev: Don't do it friends of mine have this and the speeds are terrible, only when you upgrade the package will you get anything worth shouting about. Go with the ISP who has their equipment at the exchange.
kmount Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Agreed, friend of mine is screaming about this at the moment and he's only just migrated in (and migrating back out!) 1
Soulfish Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 O2 LLU based (they have their equipment installed at the exchange) services are good. Unfortunately their home access product is heavily oversubscribed since it costs them a lot more to run. I'd avoid the home access product for now

bossman Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 @russdev How far from the exchange are you Russ? I am quite a way from our exchange yet still manage to get 2.50Mb download and 850Kb upload and that from talk talk as well who have done me proud as it costs me nothing since i have my phone contract with them.
