TechSupp Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Anyone know what the message would have been I have just seen, no I'm not asking anyone to use a cystal ball, but just done a quick reply to a post and quickly saw a message in a beige background appear abouve either my post of the one I was replying to, but I went of the page too quick to read it! Post was posted OK just wondering what it might have been?
kmount Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 It happens on Live Topics where the page refreshes certain parts during reading/replying (in quick reply mode) to add new posts. (It's not full proof I should add sometimes it says something has been posted when it hasn't, gets excited!)

kmount Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Specifically quoted from ZH back in June. When its active and you are in the thread when someone posts the thread will ajax add the latest post to the bottom. I am still tweaking it right now to find the best balance but it does seem cool.
kmount Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 This.... I meant I sometimes see the beige box "someone's posted some stuff" and they actually haven't. The functionality is mostly sound in live topics but there are some false positives where it gets lonely I suspect. 1
