cjohnsonuk Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 I've seen Microsoft's surface and followed links to Cubit and others from links in other posts here but I'd wondered if anyone knew of anything similar to ebeam/mimio that could be put on any surface (including the floor) with a projector like Hitachi ED-A111 or Sanyo PLC51. Whilst were looking into BSF alternative displays thought that something like this would add a little extra something if we could turn a surface like a table into an interactive image that many people can sit round. With multitouch it adds a little more flexibility. Any suggestions? Ebeam and mimio on the same table?
dhicks Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Any suggestions? Ebeam and mimio on the same table? I think (could be wrong) that both eBeam and Mimio use ultrasound for location, so I don't think having two units on the same surface is going to work. You could always try Johnny Lee's website for ideas: Johnny Chung Lee - Projects - Wii -- David Hicks
BandyQuill Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 nahhhh 2 sonar devices WONT work, tried using 2 e-beams here for a laugh on my desk, ended badly, it would never get the clicks in the right places was a good idea but just not good enough to work
