Smoothwall - IP URL blocking

OK I'm lost

 

How the hell do you block http://all.ip.add.resses/?

It'll probably break a few websites, but...

 

Guardian > Policy

 

Add a new policy, you'll see under the filter dropdown some "special" filters at the top:

 

 

Either that or you might want to look at the setting in Guardian > Web Proxy > Advanced to do a DNS reverse lookup in domain blocking. Will do a reverse lookup for any IP URL and then compare that to the domain lists.

 

Is there something particular that you're looking to block that perhaps we can do better in the blocklists?
