Newletter link

Hi, new to Joomla but working my way through by reading posts but cannot find post coveing this problem, so help much appreciated... I cannot work out how to link a document to the Newsletter article/module/image on the front page. I have looked in content and module managers, have installed DocMan and uploaded documents but can't make the next step. Thanks

Ok, have figured out how to add a link to an article, will work on how to integrate DocMan docs.

I find the simplest way to point towards a docman doc is to navigate to it normally and click on the view button and then copy the url you end up on and use that url as the the address for the link - that way the user ends up going straight to the pdf document without having to click on anything else
