Is it possible to give a teacher permission to SynchronEyes 6.1 Preferences

I have a teacher that would like to be able to change the default message that is displayed on the locked screen of the students. She is not an admin. If she attempts to access the preferences she is told she must be admin. Is there a way to give her access to be able to change the message?

You'll need to edit the registry permissions on (I think) the following registry key:

 

HKLM\Software\SmartTech\Synchroneyes 6.1

 

so that the teacher has full permissions.

 

I currently add the staff security group to the registry key which prevents students from altering the message if they happen to get access to the teacher software.
