morganw Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 (edited) We are an RM CC3 site but I wanted to trial a vanilla system on the side by creating a new set of OUs and GPOs separate from the RM ones. The problem is whenever I log in with a user from an RM OU it is pulling through the user settings from RM GPOs. Is there any way to stop user settings applying based on the workstation and then let me override with new GPOs to manage user settings in a vanilla environment, I've tried every combination of inheritance blocking and overrides I can think of but still can't get the GPOs to flow the way I want. Edit: Just found this Unable to Block Group Policy Inheritance - Active Directory I'll have to have a read about loopback processing mode Edited October 23, 2009 by morganw update
