Just taken delivery of 35 Integral crypto AES 4GB USB KEY's

Wen to do a test setup on a machine and it BSOD and restarted. The key works fine on my xp machine and the school server, but If I connect is on any of the other machines in the school it just BSOD and restarts.

The BSOD message is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Any suggestions would be most helpfull.

OK I've figured what is causing the problem.

We have an Avantis multimedia cd/dvd server in the school, and all the client machines have Avantis 2.4 on them.

Each machine has been configured to have two virtual dvd Drives.

Now

The encrypted usb key creates the the following drives

cd rom drive

removable storage device

now if I try to access the removable storage device, it tells me to get lost, as I've not authenticated with the encryption software on which is located on the cd rome drive that it creates on inserting the drive.

So I try to access the encryption software from that drive and the machine restarts.

So I had a think

I know there is nothing wrong with any of the machine hardware

I know its not a power issue, after all the usb key uses hardly any power and we have no issues with normal devices around the school.

I guessed last night that there is some sort of conflict between the encryption usb key and the avantis software. So I removed the avantis software to test my theory and weehey the machine dosent restart when I access the encryption software.

I've sent 'Integral' an email regarding the problem, but still not heard anything back yet, so I'm going to phone avantis and see if they know anything about this.

Is the any further tests I can do In the mean time? I would like to try and solve this myself..
