We are looking for an experienced individual who will provide high quality technical support to the IT team. The post holder will assist with the development and support of E-Learning across the College, provide training in the use of Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) and assist staff in the development of E-Learning material.

 

The ideal candidate will possess an HND or equivalent level qualification in a related topic. He/She will have a high level of IT competence and ideally have experience in Microsoft, Novell, Cisco, Linux and Adobe. Working knowledge of Moodle VLE and graphics design and E-Learning packages (Photoshop, Illustrator, Captivate and Articulate) are essential attributes as well as excellent written, oral and visual communication skills. The successful applicant will also demonstrate creativity and enthusiasm for new developments and be able to work as part of a team and also on their own initiative.

 

Appointment to this post will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure.

 

Interviews will be held week commencing Monday 2 November 2009

 

Salary: £16,782 - £20,479
