External learning

Hi All,

not an easy question to ask but here goes!

 

Does anyone use their Moodle VLE for external learning and if they do how do they secure it so that each user has their own hand-in folder (or centralised hand-in directory) which cannot be seen by any other user on the course except the course creator and an external assessor.

 

Is there a plugin block which can accommodate this functionality?

 

Would appreciate any help at all. :)

We use the Windows Share Web client for accessing their home folders its a bit fiddly and for handing in work the the assignments activity on the course with who ever needs to see the work set as teachers of the course Edited October 6, 2009 by rush_tech

Get your webserver to export Moodle home directories (or a sub-folder in those home directories) as WebDAV shares? WebDAV support is built right in to Apache, if that's any help.
