Software to add title to an image

Does anyone know of any idiot proof software that will let me open up a picture on my PC and put a title on it and save it so its always there.

 

See, I'd use photoshop but i want something really simple so my dad can use it.........poor bugger is not the best on computers and needs to title all the pictures he took.
