Avantis ContentCache default administrator login

Hi All,

 

We have just discovered an Avantis ContentCache 310 sitting unused in a storeroom. We have plugged it in and it seems to be working. Our problem is that we don't have any record of the teacher or administrator login details in order to do any further configuration or management. I'm hoping that the administrator has been left as a default - does anyone know what this might be or how I can reset the login credentials to a known setup?

Thanks for your suggestion.

We have actually tracked down the password but we have now discovered that the hard drive has some physical errors on it which cause the software to crash erratically. We have tried using chkdsk to fix the errors but it seems to have made things worse

 

I think we now know why it was sitting on the shelf!

 

I am going to try to find some software disks for it and perhaps load it onto a new HDD.
