Avantis ContentCache default administrator login

Hi All,

 

We have just discovered an Avantis ContentCache 310 sitting unused in a storeroom. We have plugged it in and it seems to be working. Our problem is that we don't have any record of the teacher or administrator login details in order to do any further configuration or management. I'm hoping that the administrator has been left as a default - does anyone know what this might be or how I can reset the login credentials to a known setup?

Don't worry folks - we have now tracked down the original password but found that the hard disk is damaged and probably not usable.

Wow, same day I was about to ask something on it too

 

Found an Avantis ContentCache 310. Running. Had no idea it was there, nor did the ICT coordinator or headteacher. The head is wondering if it's even worth running it with broadband anyway.

More to the point, as per the above query if anyone knows if there's a default administrator password or similar, would also appreciate knowing

 

Failing that we might find it otherwise useful with a recovered password using various tools
