are you sure 4500 support stacking 10gb links ?

I know 3com stacking can be a pita sometimes, I had to follow the manual to do it, and there was some command line trickery involved IIRC.

I suggest you follow the manual and then post any problems

We have updated all the switches with the s3q05_02_00s56 firmware, then using the manual i have config the switches as follows:

[switchA]

system-view

stack ip-pool 192.168.1.1 24

stack role master

stack stack-port 1 ten-gigabitethernet 1/1/1

[switchB]

system-view

stack stack-port 1 ten-gigabitethernet 1/1/1

[switchC]

system-view

stack stack-port 1 ten-gigabitethernet 1/1/1

On the master stack if i display stack members it just show the master, if i do the same on the slaves, it errors saying not in a stack?
