PEO Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 (edited) Im wanting to use this plugin on a joomla website Im creating and I have suddenly hit a problem.. How the do I use it in an article. its a plugin called 'jsmallfib' and here is the guide Guide to jsmallfib it talks about command with in an article, but I'm not sure how I go about implenting it. I've installed the plugin on my test machine. any ideas? Edited July 18, 2009 by PEO
PEO Posted July 18, 2009 Author Posted July 18, 2009 figured it out... needed to turn off tiny edit so it dosent interfere with script... just need to understand the permissions now
PEO Posted July 18, 2009 Author Posted July 18, 2009 ok permisions aside... for the second... Im trying to get jsmallfib to look at folders outside of the site folder e.g. {jsmallfib [\\kevin-pc\test] 63:2, 65:3 g6:2 desc(Hello file browsing world!)} test folder is on the 'C:\' drive and this is the fllowing error message I get
enrico Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Hi Kevin, If jsmallfib produces that error it means that the backend parameter for path type is set to relative, but I understand you want the toplevel repository to point to a path outside your web root. Set that parameter to 'absolute' and put the default path (in the backend) to \\kevin-pc\test That should work. Enrico PS: I believe you mailed me through jsmallsoftware.com yesterday, but my replies kept on bouncing back to me (maybe blocked by your antispam?). 1
