MattCowen Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 OK this is driving me mad. I have a fully workling WDS setup on 2003 with XP clients. Just purchased some new HP 6735s laptops. Installed all relevant software, run sysprep. Come to upload the image to server and when I click connect it just sits there, after about ten mins I get a message along the lines of Network location cannot be reached I'm stumped as if I try to upload an image from a standard desktop following exactly the same process it works just fine. Any ideas people ?
DevilsAdvocate Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 (edited) Missing network driver from the Boot Image. Edited July 14, 2009 by DevilsAdvocate
MattCowen Posted July 14, 2009 Author Posted July 14, 2009 Possibly as the network card is a Marvell Yukon. How would I go about injecting that into the boot image ? I have turned my brain off today !!!
DevilsAdvocate Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 There are a load of guides on Google for how to do it. Most explain the exact same way. This was the first hit -Link 1
sted Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 alternativly you could just save the image to the pc and copy it off when its finished. You would still need to get nic drivers in but you could be doing that at the same time as the image is being gathered
