How do i unblock a google video? This is getting beyond a joke, well actually it was beyond a joke 4 years ago but im particulaly pished off right now.

 

Google videos itself is blocked by a regex in the "Global banned" rules. I am trying to unblock a page by adding it to the "Global Allowed" rules.

 

This doesnt work. Why? Doing a Url test reviles that it is being blocked by the regex, but why when it should hit the "Global Allow" rule and pass it?!?!?!?!?!

Google video is categorised by smartfilter as :-

- Personal Pages

- Streaming Media

So, if you have configured your filtering group to block either of these sites it will block google video.

 

If the unit is configured correctly the filtering allows or stops what you have requested it to do. What was the rule you added to allow youtube video?
