Hacksawbob Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Hi, I am trying to get a 9.04 Ubuntu desktop onto an old fujitsu tx150 s3 to use as a fog server. when I go through the setup process it completes successfully but when I reboot I get an OS not found error. during the installation I get the option to install on any one of the drives listed SDa SDb SDc etc I have tried installing it on all of them with the same result. I can only find very basic information on the fujitsu website which would indicate that any raid would be software based, I cant find any option to enter RAID setup during boot to reconfigure the drives as one large array. Bios only has options to boot to hard drive not options for which one. Does anyone know which way to go with this?
ant2ne Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 if you boot from the install disk, can you mount and navigate your drives? If so, what are the contents of your /boot/grub/menu.lst file?
