Gatt Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Just got a test Zimbra server installed but got a query It has a hostname of mail-srv-1 and a domain name of internal.domain but in the admin console (https://mail-srv-1.internal.domain) it shows the domain as.. @mail-srv-1.internal.domain which is fine -except i want it @internal.domain like the rest of our network how do I change Zimbra to read it as @internal.domain
kesomir Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 I believe you can delete the domain and add the new one form admin, or reinstall using the domain name you want ( change settings on the final stage) http://www.zimbra.com/forums/installation/523-install-question-usr-mail-domain-com-vs-usr-domain-com.html
Gatt Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 Thanks, managed to create the new domain and put the old one into "maintenance mode" but this also knocks out the system emails (spam, ham, admin, etc) Can I just rename these then delete the domain name?
