Student e-mail restrictions.

Students in our school are currently restricted so they can only send e-mail to teachers, and not to each other and not to places outside the school. Our business studies teacher would like the students in her group to be able to receive e-mail from a couple of specific outside e-mail addresses.

 

Is there an easy way of achieveing this? After a brief look, I can't work out what I would need to change to make this happen. Our setup is a pretty standard MS exchange 2003, and the students use outloook web access for accessing their e-mail.

We have a simple sendmail relay between our internal email servers and the rest of the world.

Ordinarily a perl script updates the aliases file /etc/aliases to include users who have a 'world' email address. It's simple to use this type of selectively restrict users from having externally accessible accounts. With a combined MailMan (spamassasin/antivirus) relay its easy to whitelist/blacklist domains for the external accounts.
