Free musical typing for Windows (like Garageband)

Hello,

 

Does anybody know of a free musical typing app similar to how Garageband does it for Windows?

 

At the moment we are using Garageband in Music lessons for them to practice typing out music (such as learning Silent Night). We would like the pupils to be able to practice some more at home but obviously they would need windows software to do so.

 

It would need to be as easy to access as Garageband is. You just go to the menu at the top and choose musical typing window and off you go.

 

It doesn't need to be fancy and it DOES need to be FREE . Please remember that its for a Primary School, so i think Cubasis wouldn't be suitable.

Was asked by the Drama Dept to put a link to a virtual keyboard, niffty little thing it is.

It is pretty cool. I like it. You do need to read the instructions though to find out what keys to use

 

But once i got over my embarrassment it was pretty good.
