Dell Vostro 1710. Anyone got one?

I've just ordered 2 1710s for our staff, and am seriously giving it thought for myself. Does anyone have any experience of these, and if so what are your thoughts?

We have 2 vostros for the office, not sure of the model. They haven't let us down they are good machines, lovely and quick.

We've just bought 15 1510s. As pointed out, they look nice, and I bought them as I'd seen good reviews of their keyboards in PC Pro. There's no catches on the lid, it just kind of flaps around - this is a good thing if you have people who try and wrench laptop lids open, but might also cause some confusion.

I got one of these through work 2 days ago, very good machines one this you need to be careful of they are quite big and bulky so if your looking to take it places this probably isnt the best laptop.

In that case the 1510 might be more suitable - really quite compact (guess it's just down to the screen size, really).

My missus has the Vostro 1000..AMD X2, 2gb, big hard drive etc.

 

Nice. Very nice indeed.

 

I still plod on with my 11 year old Inspiron 3800..heh. She said it was that convinced her - 11 years old, still spot on, no faults.
