Are these devices available on the market?

 

Up to 6miles with up to 75mbps speeds doesn't sound bad to me!

 

I would love to buy a wimax router! They must be available, can't really see anyone selling - just loads of articles.

There is some availability on the Isle of Wight, but not for where I am, as the local cable doesn't reach this bit. A pain as I wanted to get rid of my utterly awful adsl connection.

 

I have read up a bit on it though as I was interested.

 

The common consensus from other ISP and various trials was that it sucks. Latency, speed and range issues seem to be a problem at the moment.
