Disposal / Recycling of LFTs (Proper laptop for teachers scheme laptops)

Morning,

 

I'm trying to establish where one stands in the disposal / recycling of laptops assigned to staff through the Laptops for Teachers scheme initiative some years ago now.

 

I of course as part of our normal disposal routine log serial numbers etc but don't know whether there's anyone I need to notify at LEA of the disposal of these units.

 

Any advice appreciated.

Good question, We have several Samsung A10s and Ergo Ensis..we're just deploying them as base level workstations/web browsers for now.

Yeah, we've been toying with giving them to charity which is fine for school purchased units being written off but I don't know about the true LFTs.
