WenWare is a time travel GeoGuessr-inspired game where players explore immersive 360° historical scenes. Then pinpoint both the location and year of the moment they’re standing in, having to guess both when and where they are.

New maps added every day.

WenWare sounds like a really cool idea. I like GeoGuessr style games already, but adding time travel makes it more interesting because you have to pay attention to things like old buildings, road signs and changes in the landscape, not just figure out where you are. I’m always up for trying different kinds of online games, especially when they offer something a bit different from the usual format. While browsing gaming platforms, I also came across holyspin, which focuses on casino games and has a review covering its game selection, bonuses and payment options for Canadian players. I found it interesting that the guide also explains the conditions behind the offers, rather than just listing them. WenWare is definitely more my kind of challenge when it comes to testing observation skills, though. I’d love to see how well I could guess a familiar place if it were shown decades earlier!

I really like how WenWare adds a historical twist to the usual GeoGuessr format. Figuring out the location is already fun, but having to guess the year as well makes me pay attention to details like old cars, shop signs, buildings and clothing. I imagine some scenes could be surprisingly tricky when the place looks familiar but the time period is harder to pin down. The daily map updates are a nice touch too, because they give me a reason to keep coming back for another round.
