Hi all,

I am wondering if anybody has had/resolved the following issue.

So I have App Locker set up in my student computer OU as a GPO.

Default rules are applied across the board & everything is set to enforced (not audit).

However when the policy is applied MS Edge will not allow the user to sign in (which should sign in by default).

This is an issue because we need MS Edge set up to require the user to be signed in, to use edge (via GPO).

When launching Edge on an affected computer, it shows the "Select Your Profile" screen.

If you try to sign into your profile you get the following error message.

We can't sign you in at the moment.

Error code: 3, 15, 1067.

After numerous google searches, speaking to 3rd party support agents I have gotten no where.

I know this issue is caused by App Locker, since if I disable or remove the policy (which only has app locker settings configured) everything goes back to working fine.

I have also reviewed the event viewer logs for App Locker and the logs do not show any app as being blocked when I put the policy into audit mode (If the policy is not in audit mode, no logs seem to be generated).

I do unfortunately need to use app-locker since I need to allow/block exe's by publisher. So if anybody knows the solution to this issue, please advise.

Thank you
