Apple Content Caching

Managed to get content caching working...seems to work fine and I can see the space being utilised when non managed devices on the network download apps from the app store.

However, we've noticed that VPP apps deployed to managed devices through Intune don't get cached. Anyone know if this is by design or how I can get this to work?

All content should be cached, are the managed devices on a separate VLAN or network?

Nope, same network but nothing on the managed device gets cached...

As Brimstone said they should as long as the Mac and iPads are on the same VLAN.

 

We setup a fairly expensive and powerful Mac when we first dove into the realm of 1300 1:1 iPads with a 10Gbit network adaptor and connection but then when looking at stats 2 years later I wonder if it was ever worth it in the first place.

Our usual 30 day stats are around 400GB but when you have a 500GB+ business line, that's not exactly much of a strain.
