Exa problems

Seem that about 6am our web access went offline, checked Exa status page, no response. The non-proxy stuff seems to be working though

Anyone have similar problems? Can you access that status page?

Yep Exa down again, Same symptoms last time they tried to implement that new PDNS and broke it

Yep we are having issues as well, I can ping and tracert 8.8.8.8 but nothing else works with or with out proxy settings.

Status site is back but not showing anything, phoned them, they know about it.

 

Is that why I get messages about sites being blocked by NCSC?

We're so sorry you experienced an issue yesterday morning, you can see information on what caused the outage on our status page here: https://status.exa.net.uk/incident/1377769
We suspect that the status page was not accessible as the redirect (status.exa.net.uk) is hosted where the issue occurred. We're carrying out a full post mortem and looking into how to prevent this from happening in the future.

Also, yes the blocked by NCSC page is related to the PDNS, you can find out more about this here: https://exa.net.uk/news/education-news/pdns/
