ClassCharts - pull data from Bromcom (Behaviour Outcomes)

We have Behavior outcomes configured in Bromcom and we are trying to figure out how to bring them over to ClassCharts so that Bromcom is always the master lookup that ClassChart uses.

 

We are unable to add / edit the Bromcom Behaviour field so in ClassCharts it shows as NONE or ---- when really it should be pulling the Behaviour Outcomes from Bromcom.

As i wasn't involved in the setup process, turn out the API and Third Party write back permissions were not set up correctly 🤦🏻‍♂️

Umm, i think so.

 

Initially it was an issue with the API permissions, ClassCharts weren't very helpful, however Wonde's API doesn't pull the BehaviourOutcomes from Bromcom anyway really it's a non-starter in terms ot the BehaviourOutcomes.

We're newly indulging into the possibilities of Classcharts + Bromcom syncing together.

 

Can I ask how you resolved your issue?

We have set everything up, Classcharts + Bromcom seem to sync together, but our behaviour dropdowns aren't pulling through on Classcharts.

 

Changed our Wonde's Bromcom user role 'Third Party' and then amended it's permissions.

Was there anything else you did that I've missed?

@JoshNotJody from what i remember we left it as it was. I didn't have much to do with the integration, only when something doesn't work after it's all been set up I usually get involved - like us all to be fair.

 

We ditched Bromcom over the summer and moved to Arbor so unable to help now, sorry.

When we originally moved to Bromcom and kept ClassCharts for the interim we had issues with behaviour types not syncing and behaviour events not writing back to Bromcom - it was due to an issue with the Wonde sync which they supported us with and various third party permissions we had to add.  

 

We have since moved away from ClassCharts and went fully Bromcom/MCAS. We had a real challenge getting Bromcom/ClassCharts to work with each other.

I've contacted both Classcharts and Wonde - but they seem to just be throwing the blame at each other and forwarding me onto the other for the past 3-4 weeks.
