M365 & Canva

Hi all,

 

Pupils in a primary school use Canva and require an M365 email address to login apparently. Just wondered if anyone who has set this up in schools what permissions you set them up with and passwords please ?

 

The pupils have licenses for M365 Apps for students.

 

What types of password did anyone generate as these are only very young pupils.

Accounts don't need email. It's a user principal name. I just sync them with AD, so the same password they use for the computer, then it signs them into their internet account automatically

Thanks all for replying to this topic in the past.

 

If I may ask.  Has anyone ever encountered any major issues syncing on-premise AD with Entra ?  The reason I ask, the Microsoft notes (and there are many for this) state it is advisable to have a backup server incase anything basically messes up !!!

We've been running the sync for about 4 years now and touch wood, never had any problems.

 

We do follow Microsoft's advice though and have a second sync agent running in staging mode on another DC.
