Mapped Drives

Hi all,

 

Have a user with Windows 11.

 

When not in school, they VPN from home to the school. VPN connection is fine, but sometimes access via mapped drives is unavailable. If I test from my own Windows 10 laptop, it's not a problem, does Windows 11 have an 'extra' layer of security or something that could be causing this ?

Usually DNS when VPNs are concerned; may be worth trying to force the DNS address as the VPN gateway depending on the solution you're using. As a stopgap, you can test this by setting a batch file or something to map the drive via IP rather than hostname.
