M365 users MFAshowing as disabled incorrectly

I have a new Tenant and I am new to M365 admin too.

 

I know that MFA is on by default as all new users have been prompted for the app including my personal account.

 

I have checked some users who I know have been through the process to add MFA but their MFA status is still showing as disabled.

If conditional access is forcing MFA then the window you are looking at doesn’t apply.

Thanks @snagrat is there a way to see how many staff have logged into their new account and been through the authenticator rather than skip for 14 days?

To answer my own question I had Security Defaults enabled.

 

I can view who has enabled MFA from

 

Identity > Protection > Authentication Methods > Monitoring > Activity
