Kaspersky banned from sale in the US

Is anyone here using Kaspersky in their schools?

Previous places I've worked had all phased Kaspersky out years ago circa 2018-ish, I've not seen it in use in any enterprise settings since. Feels like there has been a general shift away from it for quite some time now, whether that's influenced by someone or not I've no idea.

The US stopped all the fed services using it back in 2017.

 

Question is if it aint Russia getting its hands on the data then its the US! but what can you do....
