Koldov Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 I have just looked at our quarantine and noticed what I believe to be quite a few legitimate emails being blocked. Reasons are a few 'Spoofing and Authentication' but mainly 'Attachments' however I see the attachments are .png, .pdf, .jpg, .doc so they're not file types I'd normally be overly concerned about. I think I've got attachment rules turned on, so I guess it's doing it's job, but I only think I've possibly added .html so I don't know why GMail is being so sensitive...?
rogerdnixon Posted June 12, 2024 Posted June 12, 2024 If you want to know in detail why a message is blocked, log a support ticket within a couple of days of the message (quote the exact message ID) being caught and they will give you a detailed analysis of why its been blocked. I use this and then feed back to whoever sent the message as it tells them what's wrong with their mail. Just note that they only keep the detailed logs for a few days.
