Hassan98 Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Hi, Can I have some advice on this or some suggestions Currently We have students that are PP (Pupil Premium) and they require chromebooks. What we do is get the chromebook ready along with a loan agreement form that they will need to sign. What I would like to know what suggestions can you give me to make this easier as we usually have pile of stacks of loan agreement in the office. We would like to something like docusign but something that is free or cheap then docsign This will help us to know what chromebook student have instead of looking through the pile of paper
Steve21 Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 I'd suggest sticking with paper copies for the parents - By default the assumption for the reason you're giving out the laptops is that the family may have less access to ICT in the first place so using paper copies ensures it's easy for them to complete/return as required (Not in any funny way just in terms of the reason for distributing them normally, PP/LAC etc etc) Once we receive the paper copies in we then use a spreadsheet internally for tracking them/filtering/add notes and return dates etc so we don't need to go through the piles you mentioned Steve
synaesthesia Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 Check with your school and LA about this as well, quite often PP means the devices are purchased specifically for the students and belong to them. This isn't the case everywhere (there was a discussion about this elsewhere if I recall correctly!) and that takes some of the headache of paperwork out plus maintenance & management.
